  Proof of any Dragons

  does anybody have any proof of the existence of dragons?.

  we read in revelation about satan being the dragon, but aren't dragons mythological creatures?.

  "the constellation of the seven stars forming the pleiades appears to be the crowning centre around which the known system of the planets revolve even as our suns planet obey the sun and travel in their respective orbits.

  it has been suggested, and with much weight, that one of the stars of that group is the dwelling place of jehovah and the place of the highest heavens; that is the place to which the inspired writer referred to when he said: "hear thou from thy dwelling place, even from heaven" (2 chronicles6:21) ; and that it is the place to which job referred when under inspiration he wrote: "canst thou blind the sweet influences of pleiades, or loose the bands of orion" – job 38:31"

  the constellation of the pleiades is a small one compared with others which scientific instruments disclose to the wondering eyes of man.

  It is 5am and I still can't sleep. Contemplating life, doing research on religion, world history, science...

  my husband is still asleep but he will get up in about an hour for work so i'm going to quickly tell you my inconclusive conclusion.

  i don't know if i can believe in god anymore.

  i have come to the simple conclusion that he is either dead or evil but he is definitely not loving.

  so i am awoken for several years now (never really bought the cool aid) but for family reasons i am still enduring everything.

  but my wife knows ... .

  anyway so yesterday we had this boring meeting and as i was sitting there trying to make time pass faster i looked around me and i thought who else feels the same as me and is completely bored?

  i just want to take 1 post to beg those reading to speak up.

  it was a big turning point for me and one of the best decisions i made.

  Fading is never 100% successful is it?

  mum phoned last night to see how we all are.

  after fifteen years away from meetings and my old jw life you'd think my fade could be called 'successful' and for the most part it is.

  .. my resentment at being lied to and having wasted over thirty years of my life has left me like a glass of water full to the brim, it only takes a tap to make a mess.

  i don't know where to begin but damn it feels so good to be free of mind control.

  i'm only officially out since this past december but i was out mentally for two hot years under the close watch of my batshit crazy psycho parents who bothered me every sunday to see what i thought about the meeting.

  it was necessary for me to lie through my teeth.

  Do you still believe in God?

  i never thought i would admit it, but i don't.

  i might superstitiously have some kind of doubt but digging a bit deeper in my heart i really don't believe in god.

  as a human i could never just sit and watch people be tortured, live years of abuse, suffer from illness and disabilities and all the other awful things people have to endure day after day without doing something about it.

  on the german board we recently had a discussion about the people that were involved in the production of the aid-book and that later left the organization.

  in coc the following persons are mentioned in connection with the aid-book project: lyman swingle, john wischuk, raymond franz and reinhard lengtat.

  franz and lengtat later left the jw.
